Jitka is a licensed massage therapist (LMT) (license #021871) with first class accreditation from the world-renowned Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York. She is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). In addition, she holds a BA in computer arts from Hunter College. She is fully insured member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and has her American Red Cross CPR and First-Aid Certifications.

Jitka continues to consistently seek growth and knowledge through continuing education and training to integrate into her practice. She is an enthusiastic triathlete and works with weekend warriors, athletes or stay home moms.

"Best therapeutic massage in Manhattan!!! I have been Jitka's regular client since 2008. I have been suffering from sacroiliac joint problems and mild spondylosis which often put my back to a long term spasm. Since I have explored every possible venue for treating my aches I must say that Jitka's massage works like a good dose of aspirin without the side effects. She always adjusts the pressure to my specific needs and because of her professional training she knows the exact location and functions of particular muscles and she is able to relax them. "Great massage!!! I have had many massages before and some of them were waste of money. Not this one! Jitka actually listened to my requests as far as how strong I like the pressure.
